We will discuss our favourite characters. Do consider not only why this character is someone you like or love, but how that character was created. After all, this “person” does not exist, except in words…

What do they look like? Is there a third person narrator who describes them from the outside? Are they the speakers (1st person narrative)? How do you know they think, feel, etc.? What does that character’s voice convey? What gives them authenticity?

There will be participation points.
